ASAMI Bangladesh Celebrates World Ilizarov Day 2025

On the occasion of World Ilizarov Day, observed on June 15, 2025, ASAMI Bangladesh organized a Saw Bone Session to commemorate the pioneering contributions of Professor Gavriil Ilizarov in the field of orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Md Arifuzzaman actively participated in the session as a faculty member, sharing his expertise with attendees. He also delivered a presentation titled:
"Exploring New Frontiers: The Future of Ilizarov Surgery in Bangladesh", highlighting innovations, challenges, and opportunities in advancing limb reconstruction and deformity correction in the country.

The event served as a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, skill development, and inspiration for the next generation of orthopedic surgeons.
